Submission

  • Online Registration
    • Register for one or both categories via the website: eng.stampdesign.kr
    • Submit both the original and the converted copy (use the AI image conversion button on the website)
  • Mail Registration
    • Dimensions: 20cm (L) x 15cm (W) OR 15cm (L) x 20cm (W)
    • Submission: Print out a certification of registration at the website and mail in the design through registered mail to Event Head Office
    • Head Office : 5th Floor, 83, Korea Postal Service Agency, Yeongjung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul

Please note

  • The number of entries per contestant is limited to one only and may not be altered once submitted.
  • AI design entry contestants must run their picture or drawing through the AI conversion program on the Korea Post website prior to submission.
  • Amount and stamp name can not be displayed in the design work submitted
  • Applicants in the AI category can not challenge the adequacy and quality of the image conversion SW program provided by the organizer.
  • The copyright of the submitted entries belongs to the contestant in accordance with the "Guidelines for Competition Standard" (April, 2014) of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the copyright of the work converted through the SW program also belongs to the contestant.
  • If the organizer (Korea Post) publishes results, awards and other printed materials like stamp books albums for the purpose of spreading the postal culture, it is considered that the copyright holder (contestant) agrees to it.
  • Entries may be excluded from awards in case of copyright infringement in and out of country, such as if the work is not the original work of the contestant, and if the same or similar works have been also submitted in other competitions.
    • In the event of a dispute, Korea Copyright Commission may come in for settlement and the two parties shall both try to smoothly resolve the dispute.
  • Submitted designs that are not in accordance with event rules may be forfeit from the competition
  • All contestants are responsible for any issues that may arise regarding the authenticity of their design.
  • It is not possible to register using another person's name, and in case of using pen name, the real name should also be given.
  • The taxes on prize money is withheld by Korea Post.
